The University of Wisconsin–River Falls which is commonly referred to as UW–River Falls or UWRF is a public liberal arts university located in River Falls, Wisconsin. The institution offers over 40 majors with over 70 areas of study. 7. CJ 202-Introduction to Criminal Justice
The course is designed to introduce students to the processes, procedures, practices, and interrelationships of those agencies involved in the American criminal justice system. The role of law enforcement, the court systems, and the processes of corrections will be examined with an emphasis on examining each component and their relative strengths and weaknesses in the crime control process. Contemporary issues and problems encountered by the criminal justice system will also be addressed. 
8. COMD 160-Introduction to Communicative Disorders
This course will discuss disorders related to speech, hearing, and communication. Specific topics that will be tackled include the disorders of articulation, stuttering, voice, language, and hearing. Students will acquire skills that will allow them to identify and manage communicative disorders. 
9. COMD 162-Introduction to American Sign Language
Sign language is important in the contemporary world. This course introduces students to American Sign Language. Students will learn the alphabet and proceed with simple words and sentences. At the end of the course, students should be able to understand and speak sign language at a basic level. 
10. COUN 410-Introduction to Counseling
This course is designed to familiarize students with an overview of the field of counseling and equip them with the basic concepts and skills associated with school and community settings. Students will also study the theories related to counseling and conduct research on the various approaches to counseling.
